Lay Low on Easter Island. Watch the trailer for Martin McDonagh’s new film.

Searchlight Pictures has released the first trailer for “Wild Horse.” The film is scheduled for release on November 6.

The story unfolds on Easter Island against the backdrop of the events leading up to the 1973 military coup in Chile. The story centers on two CIA agents who are sent to a remote corner of the world on a controversial mission from their superiors.

The film stars John Malkovich, Sam Rockwell, and Steve Buscemi.

In interviews with international media, McDonagh noted that “Wild Horse” will be more politically charged than his previous works. He described the film as combining elements of black comedy and spy thriller. The director also emphasized that he paid particular attention to the atmosphere of isolation and tension created by the remote location.

“Wild Horse” is the fifth feature film by Martin McDonagh, known for his films “In Bruges” and “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.” The Irish director is also known as a playwright; his plays are regularly performed in theaters, including Belarusian theaters. For example, this spring, the RTBD will offer four screenings of “The Cripple of Inishmaan,” a spin-off of McDonagh’s previous film, “The Banshee of Inishmaan.”
