The Blue Marlin is considered the greatest ship ever conceived by man…

Just look at this power…
We certainly know about some serious developments in the weaponization of our planet, but the most important things always escape the attention of the average person. Look at this!

Most of you have no idea what incredible machines humanity uses. News about rockets passes us by because they’re so far removed from everyday life. But what about ships?

The Blue Marlin, a Dutch semi-submersible cargo vessel, boasts a sauna, gym, swimming pool, and the ability to transport such bulky objects as destroyers and even drilling platforms!

The first ships of the Marlin series were laid down in 2001. In 2003, the vessel underwent a major upgrade and is now capable of lifting even greater loads.

Key features: 91,238 tonnes displacement, 117,000 tonnes deadweight. Length 275 meters, width 79 meters, draft 9.5 meters. Maximum speed 14.4 knots, average 12.9 knots.

To load the object onto the deck, the Blue Marlin itself descends into the water.

Now the deck turns into a floating dock, which can already be loaded with cargo.
